Wendy Williams makes major changes in her life … she is looking for a new home after her husband's divorce.

Sources close to the talk show host told TMZ … that Wendy was looking for a new place to return to Manhattan. We are told that she wants to make a fresh start after ending her marriage, and her new digs will help her realize that the divorce is real.

As we reported … Wendy served her husband Kevin Hunter with divorce papers Thursday, finally throwing the towel among tons of rumors of fraud and the alleged mistress of Kevin having a baby.

For years, Wendy and Kevin shared a house in New Jersey … but now we are told that she understands that the best thing for her is to start over with a new environment … in a new city .

Wendy has stayed in a sober house in the Three States – New York, New Jersey, and New York – where she receives 24-hour care for addictions … and when she's done with her stay there, we're told that 39; she intends to move to her new place.
