Wildcats goaltender Tyler Herro announced Friday that he will test the NBA selection process.

"As coach Cal and staff have promised, it's the hardest thing I've ever done," said Herro in a tweeted statement, referring to his season in Kentucky. "This staff has challenged me to be the best version of myself.I am proud of what we have accomplished as a team and the way I have raise my game personally. "

Ranked # 17 in the ESPN Top 100, Herro had 14.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Kentucky reached the Elite Eight before being eliminated by the SEC's enemy, Auburn.

Herro said he would work with an agent, but under NCAA rules, he can still withdraw from the project before May 29 and join the Wildcats. Several rules are attached to this rule and if the player returns to school, he must terminate the relationship with the agent.
