ATLANTA – UFC 236 provided two of the most memorable title bouts of all time, but there could only be one winner each time. Unfortunately, for Max Holloway and Kelvin Gastelum, they were wrong.

Holloway (20-4 MMA, 16-4 UFC), the UFC featherweight champion who fought for the interim belt, suffered a unanimous loss to Dustin Poirier (25-5 MMA, 17-4 UFC) in main event Saturday's card, which was held at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. In the main event, Gastelum (15-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) failed against Israel Adesanya (17-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) by unanimous decision in a fight for the interim middleweight title .

Although Holloway and Gastelum are likely to not be active for some time after suffering considerable damage inside the Octagon at UFC 236, they only have 27 years and will be back in the octagon. Holloway is still the champion of 145 books, while Gastelum is undoubtedly still among the best contenders at 185 pounds.

What should be next for the two men? Watch the video above to find out.
