Wall Street Analyst: Bitcoin Targets $ 10,000 This Year – BTC, XRP, Ethereum, Litecoin Forecast

[ad_1]

After a prolonged break in the forecast, Fundstrat co-founder and chief research officer Tom Lee is back with a new Bitcoin prediction.

Lee told MarketWatch that investors' appetite for Bitcoin had returned and that if a few things came up, BTC could reach $ 10,000 by the end of the year.

"The appetite for risk is positive for Bitcoin. If the S & P 500 performs a standard 2.5 deviation [as it has done year-to-date] and investors are looking for volatility, which is a basic scenario for Bitcoin. "

Currently, Bitcoin is up 38 percent year-to-date to reach $ 5,000 versus $ 3,700 in January, outperforming the Nasdaq 100 and the S & P 500.

Earlier last year, Lee predicted that BTC would return to $ 20,000 by the end of 2018, a figure he would then have adjusted to $ 15,000.

At present, crypto markets are mixed. Bitcoin is down 0.13% to $ 5,078. Ethereum is up 0.51% to $ 163.87 and the XRP down 0.35% to $ 0.3255.
