Jamie Carragher believes that Manchester City has not yet proven that it can win a "tight and equal match" like that of Liverpool.

The Premier League title race shows no sign of slowing down after Liverpool and City have lost points in tough games on Sunday.

City continued to normalize the shine beating Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, while Liverpool provided us with 16 conclusions against Chelsea.

Liverpool now has two points ahead in the standings after playing a game more than City and the Reds also have a more favorable schedule.

According to Carragher, the fact that Jurgen Klopp's team came out unscathed from his toughest series of matches is blameless.

"When you win easily, it shows that the class was right, but when they have this game in the league by the end of the season – there may be one, there may be two, he can there are none – how will they react? Because they do not have it often, "he told Sky Sports.

"I was at the Champions League match against Tottenham midweek and it was not that easy, and they did not show much efficiency while it was a close match.

"The hope for Liverpool is that if City finds itself in situations where Liverpool sits almost week after week, then Liverpool is almost convinced that it will go through those tough times, while it will be interesting to see how City will react as they have not had to do it often this season.

"After the international break, I thought City was the big favorite and was in the box box, but with Liverpool against the Spurs, Southampton and now Chelsea, even if City could have a point, I think that's 50-50.

"Liverpool had to overcome these three games and he has four left. For the moment, I could not separate them. "
