The 2019 Boston Marathon has once again tested its athletes in harsh weather conditions, but a few of them have become champions.

Wheelchair man: Daniel Romanchuk of the United States wins, becoming the first American to win the wheelchairs division in Boston since 1993. He is also the youngest winner in this category.

Women's race: Worknesh Degefa, of Ethiopia, won his first attempt in Boston with an unofficial time of 2:23:31.

Men's race: Lawrence Cherono of Keyna won the men's race.
