Jordan Hasay ran 2:25:20 to finish third in today's Boston marathon. She finished 1 minute and 49 seconds behind the winner, Ethiopian Worknesh Degefa, winner.

The race was Hasay's first marathon since Chicago in October 2017, where she managed a personal best 2:20:57 to become the fastest American in history. Hasay retired before the Boston and Chicago marathons last year due to an injury.

Hasay, 27, made her marathon debut in Boston in 2017, placing third in 2:23:00. Alerberto Salazar coaches him as part of the Nike Oregon project.
