Tracer gets his engine
It's almost time to get dressed for another Overwatch mission, as the multiplayer shooter prepares for its Storm Rising event, which will take place tomorrow and continue until May 6th. A captivating new trailer shows the OW crew capturing Maximilian from Talon's dangerous agent Doomfist.
Players will once again lead a team of selected characters in the new PvE mode, consisting of Tracer, Genji, Mercy and Winston. As stated in the trailer, it is up to this team – under the code name "Soujourn" – to attack Maximilian's procession. Woe to all the forces that stand in their way.
Interestingly, the trailer includes a segment where Tracer rides a futuristic motorcycle and Genji picks up vehicles in motion, like samurai. It is unclear if this scene will play a role in the game, but it would be a unique new mechanism if the action turned briefly into a railroad shooter or something similar.
Of course, with the new mode will come an overabundance of new skins, sprays, avatars and other gubbins. Storm Rising runs from April 16th to May 6th. Overwatch is now available on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
