Nintendo Switch Update Out Now, adds backup transfers, etc.

[ad_1]

A new firmware update for Nintendo Switch has arrived and brings some important changes, the most notable of which are backup transfers between Switch consoles and the ability to sort your games in different ways.

Starting from backup transfers, the 8.0.0 update introduces the ability to transfer backup data between Switch consoles. You can do this by going to System Settings> Data Management> Transfer your backup, back up. One important thing to note is that once you transfer your backup data, it is erased from the console on which it was originally, known as the source system.

As for the sorting feature, it allows you to sort by last play, play time, game name and editor.

Another notable addition to the update includes the introduction of a "zoom" feature to take a closer look at things; you can use it by pressing twice on the home button. In addition, Nintendo has added 15 new Yoshi Splatoon 2 and Crafted World player icons.
