If you've heard of Keanu Reeves' hobby and his connection to the Custom Arch Motorcycle Elite bike shop, but you've never really understood what the contract is, this interview with GQ tells us introduced into the life of the actor by bike and presents his motorcycle collection. Which is great, by the way.
Based on the films I've seen, I would not describe Reeves as a particularly expressive actor. In fact, he seems more excited and excited to talk about motorcycles in this YouTube video than in any of his movie scenes that I remember.
He is clearly an enthusiast and his personal collection of motorcycles is really cool. Seeing this, I felt like an active member of motorcycle culture. as opposed to Rich Guy throwing money at the Vanity Project.
But my favorite nugget from this interview is the fact that her co-star of The Matrix, Carrie-Anne Moss Roy, made her first bike on a big ruthless Ducati sports bike for this scene in The Matrix: Reloaded which I remember absolutely love 2003.
The bike in the movie is a 996 and the bike in Reeves Care is a 998, which seems to come from the small batch of "Matrix Edition" 998 Ducati sold after the film came out to capitalize on the hype around it. a stand, but the dark green color of Matrixy looks cool anyway.
It's always cool to see someone passionate about motorized recreation. And if you were wondering what Reeves' relationship was to the motorcycle world, you know it now.
