However, not all Roku devices support wired Ethernet. No matter what Roku connects with WiFi, but if WiFi is not an option for you – or if your WiFi is too slow or too irregular to stream video reliably – you might want to consider you get the Roku Ultra. Whichever Roku model you choose, the configuration is quite simple.

If you have a Roku Ultra, you do not need to configure WiFi. Instead, plug the Ultra into your router or network hub at the same time you connect it to HDMI and power. It will automatically detect the network and you will not have to enter any network password.
