UNION, S.C. – According to the authorities, a schoolboy from South Carolina who fainted in class last week had a backpack filled with nine empty mini bottles of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey.
According to state reports, the Union County Sheriff's Office says that a 13-year-old man's bag search also revealed another half-empty mini bottle and two bottles no open.
The report said the boy took his grandfather's whiskey unknowingly and distributed an undetermined number of bottles to other students at Sims Middle School.
He says he seemed to be drunk at school and that he vomited and moved unsteadily. He was hospitalized and released.
He was arrested and charged with drunkenness and offenses under the Alcoholic Beverages Act. The report says that he was then handed over to his mother's care.
