Hopcat, Michigan, has announced that it is transforming its popular "Crack Fries" into "Cosmik Fries", more neutral.
"We chose this name more than 11 years ago to refer to the addictive quality of French fries and their cracked pepper dressing, without taking into account the ones that negatively affect the drug. We were wrong, "said Mark Gray, CEO of BarFly Ventures, in a December 10 blog post. "The crack outbreak and the lasting impact on those it affects are not funny and have never been."
