Latest switch firmware update provides very useful sort and backup transfer options

The 8.0 update wins the .0 & # 39;

Late in the American evening, as usual with Nintendo, a big update of Switch has arrived. It's called "8.0.0" and brings some welcome additions to the board.

The most impactful solution is the improved sorting features in your "All Software" list. You can now sort the games by title, editor, total duration, and last play time. As a reminder, it will appear when 13 or more games are on the list (I remember that when I reached this mark early enough to review Switch hardware, it was pretty wild).

Although news channels do not have their own sorting options, you can now see everything similarly for available channels. Saving data transfer is another long-time feature that has been incorporated into version 8.0.0. You go to system settings, data management, and then transfer your console data to console.

Other additions of auxiliary types include 15 new profile icons (covering The craft world of Yoshi and Splatoon 2), a zoom function on the system settings, an option "do not wake the system when it is not connected to an AC adapter", convenient for travel, VR parental restriction controls (Nintendo says that children should not use Lab VR before the age of seven years) and support to other areas of the system (South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong).

Not too bad!
