An 18-year-old "infatuated Columbine" woman went to Colorado – a few days before the 20th anniversary of the high school massacre – in order to buy firearms and possibly target a school, said Tuesday cops.
Sol Pais is thought to be somewhere in the Denver-Littleton area, the police considering it "extremely armed and extremely dangerous."
"Last night [Pais] in Colorado and is making threats in the Greater Denver area, "wrote the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in a press release. "She's an 18-year-old white woman, about 5'5" tall, with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, camouflage pants and black boots.
The FBI and local law enforcement have set up lockouts and lockouts – where gates are secure, but classes continue – Tuesday in Columbine schools and other schools in the area of Denver because of the presence of Pais. The students were allegedly guarded by armed officers during their dismissal.
