LeBron James will have a full basketball court based on the "Space Jam 2" set

Even though LeBron James may have big plans with the filming of "Space Jam 2" due to begin this summer, it seems like he's not trying to compromise on his workout.

James ends a disappointing 2018-19 NBA season with the Los Angeles Lakers after missing the playoffs for the first time in 13 seasons. One of the few silver lining of the team's abbreviated season is that it will have the opportunity to refresh the mind and body.

Off the field, James has many projects that have been discussed. Fortunately, it seems that James is still trying to stay in shape.

According to Joe Vardon of The Athletic, a complete basketball court will be built on the board:

Production begins this summer on "Space Jam 2", performed by LeBron and due out in July 2021. This is not James' first summer film project; he filmed "Trainwreck" in 2014 and the animated film "Smallfoot" in 2017. Sources told The Athletic that a complete basketball court would be built on the "Space Jam 2" that LeBron was to lead.

The reports on James' projects only added a sense of déjà vu to the whole project. Michael Jordan did the same thing when he filmed the original and we can say that it worked for his game.

Of course, working on his skills may not be James's main concern at the moment. Recent reports suggest that he has struggled to find other elite players like him to help form a cast of stars for the restart.

This raises obvious concerns for James on two levels. Not only would the lack of superstars be of interest to moviegoers, but it will also avoid competition on his new home.

Although Giannis Antetokounmpo can be excluded from the cast, there are still many other superstars to recruit by James. It is clear that James is doing everything in his power to ensure that they do not interrupt their training during filming.
