Ocasio-Cortez backs New York Post boycott on attacking cover Ilhan Omar

But she said the cover of her diary was not the reason she tweeted the boycott of Post over the weekend.

"It can be annoying or annoying, but I did not call him when they were chasing me," Ocasio-Cortez said of the newspaper's coverage by the Post Office in Congress.

Rather, she said she was motivated by the newspaper's cover page last week, highlighting Omar's controversial reference to the Sept. 11 terrorist attack as a case of "someone did something".

"It's your thing," shouted the cover of the post on a photo of the Twin Towers in flames on 9/11.

This "was just beyond the palm, you know?" Ocasio-Cortez said on "Skullduggery". "There is an aggressive policy. There are people who will not be fair to you and things like that, and I understand that is part of the area that goes with it. But, you know, I think that's unacceptable. "

"And also, I think it's important to say that I did not call for a boycott of the New York Post," she said. "What I am, I amplify, amplify the organization of what is happening on the ground, and I really think that there is a substantive difference between the two. "

On Sunday, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted about the boycott.

Her tweet then linked the boycott call to the Post by Dr. Debbie Almontaser, community activist and former director of the Brooklyn Khalil Gibran Academy Public High School.

Asked about Skullduggery if this tweet did not "implicitly" support Post's boycott, Ocasio-Cortez replied, "I agree. I approve it.

Ocasio-Cortez said his gesture was more of a show of support for those organizing the boycott.
