Roman Reigns and 11 other superstars join Smackdown after the WWE shakeup

Vince McMahon left at the end of the April 16 episode of Smackdown to announce his grand acquisition for the Tuesday night show. While we guessed former NFL member Rob Gronkowski – because they moved to Fox in October, which would be a huge plus, since he appeared on WWE programming before – McMahon announced that he was not going to be able to do anything. Elias would leave Raw at Smackdown. However, it was not everything. At the end of the show, Roman Reigns defeated Elias and McMahon and announced that he would now be on Smackdown Live.

In addition, six other WWE superstars would join Smackdown during the evening. Finn Balor, Bayley, Ember Moon, Kairi Sane, Lars Sullivan and Buddy Murphy also made their debut on Tuesday night. After the show, Liv Morgan, Chad Gable, Apollo Crews and Mickie James have also shown themselves to be heading for Smackdown Raw. Smackdown's brand division has been weakened after Superstar Shakeup, but its women's division is stronger than ever.

Original story below:

WWE is at the heart of its annual Superstar Shakeup, where Raw and Smackdown wrestlers are moved. On Monday, in the Raw episode, 17 people came from Smackdown, 205 Live and NXT for the red mark. However, things will heat up with the April 16 episode of Smackdown for the second part of the Shakeup Superstar.

The chairman of the board, Vince McMahon, will participate in the Tuesday night show to "reveal the biggest acquisition of Smackdown Live History," according to a press release. Although many WWE fans think that this could mean that Roman Reigns is going to move to the blue mark or maybe even that Brock Lesnar (hopefully not) could the WWE reach an even bigger person?

Considering that Smackdown Live will bring the network to Fox in October, WWE may attempt to attract somebody from the sports world to come to the Tuesday night show. Yes, Brock Lesnar was in the UFC, but considering how long he is at WWE as a part-time competitor, it's not a really exciting news.

That's why we think WWE is recruiting an NFL member: Rob Gronkowski. The tight end of the old New England patriots is a familiar face of WWE fans. He appeared on NXT recordings and on Wrestlemania to encourage his friend Mojo Rawley. Gronkowski announced his retirement from the NFL in March, and whether you like him or hate him, he's a good choice for the company and a big name for the sport.

However, we will have to wait and see tonight to hear what McMahon has to say and who will come to Smackdown when the show airs tonight in the US at 7 pm ET / 4 pm ET.
