Bill Belichick among the patriots to attend the second game of the Celtics-Pacers

In the middle of his preliminary preparation, Patriots coach Bill Belichick stopped at TD Garden to take part in the second game of the Celtics-Pacers first-round playoff series.

A regular at Boston sporting events, Belichick, who turned 67, was joined by his longtime girlfriend, Linda Holliday. The couple was sitting next to Celtic co-owner Wyc Grousbeck and his wife Emilia Fazzalari.

Between the first and second quarter, Belichick, dressed in jeans and a tailor's jacket over a light blue shirt, had a brilliant smile when displayed on the video board of the central court. Of course, he was acclaimed.

Wide receiver Julian Edelman, safety guard Duron Harmon, safety guard Devin McCourty and cornerback Jason McCourty all had the chance to face Edelman face-to-face, wearing a black cap and raising the bar great applause.

A group of young patriots, including seven members of the 2018 rookie category: linebacker Ja & Whaun Bentley, wide receiver Braxton Berrios, half-corner Keion Crossen, half-corner Duke Dawson, half-tight Ryan Izzo, the Sony Michel running back and the offensive line player Isaiah Wynn. Austin Seferian Jenkins, defensive coach Adam Butler, cornerback J.C. Jackson and offensive guard Shaq Mason were also present.

Celtic legend Larry Bird, who was in the stands for match 1, also returned for match 2. Once again, he received a resounding ovation after being shown on the big screen in the second quarter.
