George Lucas, the legendary filmmaker and creator of Star Wars and Indiana Jones, contributed to the premiere of HBO's Game of Thrones season 8.

As reported by Vanity Fair, Lucas's engagement was revealed via a behind-the-scenes video of HBO that describes the shooting of the first episode of the last season of Game of Thrones.

"When we discovered that George Lucas wanted to visit, we thought it might be a joke," said co-creator of the show, David Benioff. "We were very excited and nervous because it was George Lucas."

The clip shows Lucas walking on the set, chatting with the cast and the crew and even alongside director of the episodes, David Nutter, who could not believe it was happening and who said : "It was so cool for me".

Lucas is also featured with Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington after filming a scene taking place in Winterfell.

"It was awesome," Lucas said, resting his arm on Harrington's, then jokingly, "No direction for you, I do not care about you, I do not care what happened."

Even if it was a brief overview, it's cool to see the crossing of two of the largest franchises in the world, even if it is not the first cross since Emilia Clarke and Gwendoline Christie appeared in the Star Wars movies and showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss will create new Star Wars movies.

This clip also gave us the hilarious and painful moment when Kit Harrington had an incident … rather uncomfortable when shooting the first one.

Although we do not know if it's Lucas' only visit to the set, we're seeing the second episode of the eighth season of Game of Thrones aired this Sunday, and HBO recently revealed pictures of the next episode.
