The NFL rarely sleeps, and this is the case this week since the NFL 2019 schedule has been released.
In this room, I will examine the slate up to the nuts and bolts. How does this schedule affect the fantastic landscape? Which players have the easiest and most difficult? What about cornerback matches for receivers? Who will do the series?

A bit of housework before I dive into that. First, I'm going to exclude the 17th week from fancy categories, even if it only has a minor impact on the results. Then, note that my calendar evaluation strength is do not based on the final records of 2018, which is often what you will see in this type of column. There have already been a ton of moves in the lineup this season, so all of this is reflected in the prospects of each team for 2019. My assessment of each list – and not the production of the team – is the same. last year – is what I use to generate the easiest and most difficult programs.
The analysis below is your next step in preparing for the 2019 NFL football and fantasy football seasons.
The easiest opponents defenses
1. Cardinals of Arizona
If new head coach Kliff Kingsbury can have an impact similar to Sean McVay's on Arizona's offensive, the league's loveliest fantasy program could help this unit perform a quick turnaround this season. The defenses of the San Francisco (twice), Tampa Bay, Cincinnati and New York Giants are all set to battle each other this season and will be close to one-third of the Arizona program. Better yet, the Cardinals will dodge all the toughest planned defenses (think of Jacksonville and Chicago) and the toughest units they will face are the Rams (twice), the Saints and a weakened Ravens unit. David Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk will benefit the most.
2. Patriots of New England
Unlike Arizona, the New England program is a little more extensive, with a handful of games against very good defenses, but also a long list of cases against some of the weaker units of the league. The Patriots offense will benefit from the showdown with the Dolphins (twice), Chiefs, Bengals, Giants and Redskins, but will need to be downgraded to the Eagles, Cowboys and Texans. This is good news for the guards trio and could help Tom Brady to a fantastic rebound season. Keep an eye on the team's wide receiver and tight end movements, but for now, Julian Edelman, Demaryius Thomas and Austin Seferian-Jenkins are the benefactors.
3. Baltimore Ravens
Like the Cardinals, the Ravens' fantastic calendar intrigues, mainly because it does not include any of the best defenses in the league. Baltimore's toughest challenges will come from Houston, Buffalo, New England and the Los Angeles Rams. Ravens, on the other hand, will have weaker defenses in Cincinnati (twice), Miami, Kansas City and San Francisco. A big point of questioning out of season is whether Lamar Jackson's ability to hurry up will compensate for his inefficiencies. One of the lightest programs in the league should help it progress. Mark Ingram II, Willie Snead IV and the Mark Andrews / Hayden Hurst duo can also be slightly improved.
The toughest opponents defenses
1. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs' offense, led by Patrick Mahomes, exploded for 66 touchdowns last season, but the combination of history and the most challenging fantasy program in the league suggests an impending return to Earth. Incredibly, 12 of the 16 games of the Chiefs will be against defenses that are supposed to be better than average. Their toughest confrontations will be against the Bears, Vikings and Jaguars, but life will not be any easier against the Chargers (twice), the Broncos (twice), the Titans, the Texans, the Colts, the Patriots and Ravens. A pair of games against the Raiders are the only confrontations that stand out as net improvements for this offense.
Of course, the strength of the timeline is only a variable, but this slate must be taken into account when assessing the likes of Mahomes, Damien Williams, Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins and Travis Kelce.
2. Oakland Raiders
Oakland and Kansas City both play in West African Africa; The Raiders' unique games are the Jets and Bengals (compared to the Patriots and Ravens for the Chiefs), which is why they fall in second place. I'll talk more about the Oakland calendar later, but this arduous slate is uninteresting news for Derek Carr, as well as newcomers Isaiah Crowell, Antonio Brown, and Tyrell Williams.
3. Houston Texans
Injuries and a weak offensive line have limited Texans in the touchdowns department in 2018, and the franchise will face another headache this season in the form of one of the toughest slates in defense. . To face the stellar unit of Jacksonville twice is already hard enough, but it is necessary to add the Titans (twice), the Colts (twice), the Chargers, the Broncos, the Ravens, the Patriots and the Saints and, suddenly, 11 of the 16 games of the team are against units above average. The Buccaneers, Chiefs and Raiders feature the lightest clashes of the season in Houston, although two of them are on the road. The fantastic production of Deshaun Watson, Lamar Miller, DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller V and Keke Coutee will be affected.
Comments of the week 14-16
Many of your leagues will be watching the fantastic playoffs of weeks 14-16, which is worth focusing on.
This is particularly the case here because the Dolphins, who have a fantastic program on average, are positioned with the easiest slate in weeks 14 to 16. Miami will travel to the Jets and Giants before returning home. to face Cincinnati.
The Giants, Eagles, Jets and Patriots complete the five lightest programs in the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Raiders will face what is easily the most difficult program during the playoffs. Oakland, which I already talked about earlier as the second most challenging fantasy program in the world, will face Tennessee and Jacksonville at home before heading to Los Angeles to face the Chargers in the 16th week.
The Chiefs, Cowboys, Packers and Chargers complete the five most challenging programs during the fantastic playoffs.
To enjoy this section, you must go to the playoffs. This information will therefore be better served as a tiebreaker or perhaps during the presentation of commercial offers during the season.
Easiest schedule
1. Patriots of New England
It would not be an NFL season if the Patriots were not at the top of this list. There are two main reasons why New England is often at the top of this category: 1. Unlike 13 other teams, they do not have to play against the Patriots, and 2. They can play against the Dolphins, Bills and Jets twice a year. season. The Jets and Bills have improved a little during the off-season, but they both have glaring weaknesses and they will rely a lot on the progression of their second-year shifts. Miami's reconstruction has worsened, dropping a good chunk of its good veteran players, and now has the worst NFL team on paper.
Aside from divisional games, the Patriots also benefit from clashes with the Giants, Redskins and Bengals. Their toughest games are against the Chiefs, Eagles, Texans and the rest of AFC North. The Patriots have a relatively easy path to their 17th consecutive season with more than 10 wins.
2-3. New York Jets and Buffalo Bills
I combine Jets and Bills instead of a pair of redundant capsules analyzing two teams with schedules similar to those in New England. While the Patriotes' unique games are against the Texans and the Chiefs, the Bills will face the Titans and the Broncos and the Jets with the Jaguars and the Raiders. As noted earlier, the Jets and Bills have improved their lineups at least slightly during the offseason, but the path to a wildcard spot is mainly based on progress in second-year shifts, Sam Darnold and Josh Allen. Light schedules help make both sleepers realistic in the CAF.
4. Philadelphia Eagles
Despite some notable defeats during the off season, the Eagles are still the best team in the league on paper. As a bonus, they are configured with the easiest time of the NFC. Like the rival Cowboys, the Eagles will benefit from a quarter of their program against the Redskins and Giants. The Eagles also benefit from a home game against the Lions, as well as confrontations with the AFC East Dolphins, Bills and Jets. The toughest battles in Philadelphia are against the Patriots, Bears and Cowboys (twice). His confrontation with Seattle will take place at the Lincoln Financial Field, although clashes with the Packers and Vikings are on the road. The lightweight program offers the Eagles a good opportunity to take over the NFC's Eastern crown.
Most difficult general schedule
1. Oakland Raiders
The Raiders' rebuilding has continued in the off season with a large influx of new players under new CEO Mike Mayock. Oakland has certainly improved the list, but gaps and important question marks remain. Add to that what should be the toughest schedule in the league and the Raiders seem to be in at least a year of competition in the CAF.
The tough schedule starts of course with division rivals Chiefs and Chargers, who both played 12-4 last season and remain in good shape on paper. Oakland will also face tough challenges including Chicago, Indianapolis, Houston, Minnesota and Green Bay. We now have nine of the Raiders' 16 games, plus two games against the division rivals Broncos, and tough defenses in Jacksonville and Tennessee. The "easiest way" in Oakland to win is the home games against the Bengals and Lions, as well as a road match against the Jets.
2. Denver Broncos
The Broncos have a good defense and seem to have the feeling of having improved their ranks by trading against Joe Flacco, but one of the toughest programs in the league makes it difficult to return to the playoffs this season. The Denver program is, of course, similar to that of Oakland, although the Broncos' unique games are against the Browns and the Bills (as opposed to the Bengals and the Raiders Jets). Facing Oakland twice is why the Denver slate is slightly "easier" than the Raiders program.
3. Houston Texans
The Texans calendar for 2019 is limited in "easy" and heavy games for some of the strongest teams in the league. The latter includes road trips to confront colts, chiefs, saints and shippers, as well as home competitions with colts and patriots. Add two games each against rivals Jaguars and Titans, representing 10 of 16 Houston games. The only opponents of Texans who stand out as "easy" are the Buccaneers and Raiders. Houston has a lot of talent and fulfillment, but a difficult schedule hides a potential return to playoffs.
4. Falcons of Atlanta
The Falcons' defensive outlook is much better for 2019 with a healthy Keanu Neal, Deion Jones and Ricardo Allen, but the NFC's toughest schedule could be preventing them from returning to the play-offs. To face the Saints, rivals of the division, twice is already rather painful, but Atlanta must also face Eagles, Colts, Rams, Texans and Vikings. There are also no light clashes, the easiest opponents to project Falcons posing as the Cardinals, 49ers and Buccaneers (twice).
AFC seeds projected
1. Patriots; 2. foals; 3. the leaders; 4. browns; 5.Chargeurs; 6. Steelers
The Patriots are a highlight, especially given their light schedule mentioned above. The Colts are arguably one of the top five teams on paper and have the easiest AFC South program. Choose your poison between the Chargers and the Chiefs, but Los Angeles will play its "home game" against Kansas City on neutral ground, that is the difference. Both men have to go. The Browns are a little better than the Steelers, but the disappearance of the latter has been exaggerated. Major defeats in off-season defensemen make Ravens, AFC North North defending champions, the underdogs. The most notable omission here is probably that of the Texans, but their difficult schedule can not be overlooked.
NFC seeds projected
1. rams; 2. eagles; 3. saints; 4. bears; 5. cowboys; 6. packers
The Rams led by Sean McVay are the only team I show as a favorite in each of their 16 games, which helps them to rank first. The Eagles and the Saints will be at the rendezvous. The Chicago defense remains busy, but the quarterback is a question mark and an improved Packers team (maybe my favorite sleeper team for 2019) is arguably better on paper. Green Bay and a strong Dallas team are imposing in Seattle, Minnesota, Atlanta and Carolina for patent positions.
Five NFL 2019 Finalists Project
1. dolphins; 2. Raiders; 3. Redskins; 4. giants; 5. Bengals
Rebuilding Miami is the big favorite for the first overall pick of the 2020 project. Quarterbacks and / or fragile defenses seem to be the main culprits for the tough 2019 seasons for the Raiders, Redskins, Giants and Bengals.
