Cain did not respond to a request for comment from CNN.

He said during an appearance in Fox News after White's press conference that his complaint was "unfounded".

"I'm not going to give up because they're recycling the unfounded charge about eight years ago," Cain told Fox News host Neil Cavuto on Thursday. afternoon. "I knew her, I do not deny her, I deny an affair."
