The device "USB Killer", when it is inserted into the USB port of a computer, sends a command that quickly charges the built-in capacitors of the computer and then discharges them repeatedly, which overload and physically destroys the USB port and the electrical system of the computer.
Akuthota admitted that he had deliberately destroyed computers and had registered using his iPhone, including making statements such as "I will kill this man" before inserting the "USB Killer" in the USB port of the computer.
