Britney Spears responded to rumors that she was being held against her will at a health center and said her family was receiving death threats in a video posted on Instagram Tuesday night.

Fans started #FreeBritney based on unfounded rumors that the 37-year-old pop star was being held against her will in a mental health facility by her father, Jamie Spears.
The 66-year-old singer's attorney, Andrew Wallet, has resigned as Conservative from his daughter's estate.
Wallet controlled Spears' finances since his public crisis in 2008. The artist has been moving into a wellness center for mental health treatment earlier in the month to help him coping with the deterioration of his father's health, Fox News reported.
"There are rumors, death threats for my family and my team, and so many crazy things are said," wrote Spears Tuesday without specifying whether she was held at the hospital against her will or whether she he is voluntarily engaged in the treatment. "My situation is unique, but I promise to do what is best at the moment," she added.
Last week, Lynne Spears, 63, Britney's mother, praised the comments she's been holding on her own Instagram post last week, in support of rumors that her daughter would be captured. "Give Britney back his freedom, his voice, his life! I love you guys #freeBritney," read an article appreciated by the matriarch.

The singer "Toxic" concluded Tuesday her ticket assuring the fans that she was strong and defended what she wanted. "Your love and dedication are extraordinary, but what I need now is a little privacy to handle all the hardships of life," said Spears. The singer announced in January that she was pausing indefinitely on her show "Britney: Domination" in Las Vegas to be with her father as he struggled against a serious colon disease.
