Sigh. A small grain of something has found its way under my Galaxy Fold screen. As the saying goes: "not surprised, just disappointed." Sending this to Samsung in the hope that they find a way to seal this hinge.

Our own Michael Fisher, aka MrMobile, seems to have a debris under his screen. The same debris that was found in the unit of Dieter Bohn at The Verge. (Well, probably not the even debris, but also ruinous)
It does not matter, however: Samsung collects all the verification units and inspects them for defects, a consequence of the indefinite delay published earlier this week by the company trying to understand why this problem occurred in the first place. Then he has to solve the problem, probably by plugging the exposed parts of the hinge, which, according to iFixit, is causing the disorder.

He also hopes to do all this before the inevitable release of Huawei Mate X, which should begin to be sold in June. According to AT & T, the Galaxy Fold could go on sale again on June 13, but that could be a substitute.
Samsung is also in the unenviable position of having to save a now-damaged phone launch while convincing consumers that despite its $ 2,000 selling price, the Fold and similar phones are well and truly the future.

As for me, I like Fold very much. He has very good ideas and, despite some difficult implementations, a solid foundation. There are many things to like here, and most of the time, I do not see the trade-offs – I just see the incredible versatility of displaying a tablet in the body. ;a phone.
But we can not all agree, is not it?
