Fortnite has never had his virgin and Epic Games worked hard to remedy this problem. They have just released a new blog post detailing the audio enhancements they are working on for Season 9.
The audio side of Fortnite has never really been fixed since the game's launch. Vertical audio and space sounds can be extremely dubious, especially in late-game fights.
Epic Games wants to solve these problems by implementing large-scale changes in the way audio is processed and received by the customer. They published a short article on current affairs on Thursday night.
Audio Improvements for Season 9 Coming Soon
Epic wants to make sure that the game's infrastructure is updated with its content. In recent times, they have fallen behind on some engine problems, but they seem to want to change things.
In a FortniteBR subreddit blog post, Epic has listed some of the issues solved for the v8.50 and the new issues they have detected so far:
"Version 8.5 fixes and audio updates:
- Game problem "random sounds" ("ghost" weapon switches, reloads, use of objects) solved.

- The switching problems were more complex than expected, but we managed to find a speculative solution by 9am.
In addition, they gave a complete list of new audio enhancements that will arrive in future updates. Season 9 is mentioned several times and seems to be Epic's current target for all these audio updates.
This is very good news for all Fortnite players, but especially for competitive players. The Fortnite World Cup is raging for the remainder of season 8 and season 9. These audio changes will make the game much more consistent and fair, allowing the best players to win the World Cup.

- Best tactical sound inside the structures built by the player:
- Impact of the enemy pickaxe in a building tile radius greater than about one.

- Skip say to the added audio (if bunny-hopping is not so quiet).
- Detection of the landing sound more clearly.
- Improvements to sound problems falling outside the player's FOV.
- Improved gliding sounds of nearby players relative to distant players, to help clarify the distance of hovering enemies.
- Bullet impact and explosive sound enhancements – shorter sounds and higher dynamic range.
- Longer sounds play correctly during rehearsals.
- Fixed issues with switching audio devices on PC.
- Improved differentiation of teammate's sound relative to enemy sound.
