Kansas State cornerback Duke Shelley was chosen by the Bears on Saturday for the sixth-round pick in the sixth round.
Shelley has appeared in 38 games with 37 starts in four seasons at Kansas State. He recorded 165 tackles, eight interceptions – returning two for touchdowns – a sack, seven tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
The 5-9-year-old and 180-pound player started his 12 games as a junior team in 2017, placing fourth in the Big 12 with 13 assists, while winning the conference honors. Shelley played in the first seven games last year before suffering an injury at the end of the season.
