Marvel fans across the country flocked to theaters this weekend to see "Avengers: Endgame," but a teacher who was not able to see the film until next week issued a strong warning to his students: no spoilers.
In a viral tweet that had nearly 100,000 retweets and 400,000 likes on Saturday afternoon, the Twitter user @kamiilious shared a picture of a sign on the door of his teacher's classroom.
The letter – in which the teacher, who has not yet been identified, indicates that he will not be able to see the film before Wednesday "at the earliest" – sends a firm warning to students.

"Do not discuss anything about it near my class until this signal comes down. You know how much I love Marvel Comics, "we read.
The notice goes on: "So help me, Jeebus, if any of you spoils a single image of this movie for me, I promise you that I will make you wish Thanos take a close photo." "
Although the note may seem daunting at first, the student who shared the viral photo insisted that it was just a joke.
"WE HAVE REASONED TO OFFER WHAT THE TEACHER SAID. PLEASE STOP MEANING THAT IT WILL NOT BE IMPULSIVE. [IT’S] ALL HUMOR GUYS! @Kamiilious later tweeted.
"Even I would send the kids to the office so quickly," commented one person.
"I'll be petty and send them to another class to mess up information!", Shared another.
By the way, actor Chris Hemsworth revealed to Entertainment Tonight Monday at the film's premiere that he had mixed feelings, now that his stint of several years in the role of "Thor" in the series of beloved movies "Avengers" from Marvel is over.

"It's still a nerve-racking experience, but I do not know, we literally left everything on the ground with this one," said the actor to the press, in part. "I think we all have a sense of pride."
"It's a bittersweet quality, because it's the last time this group of people meets," he added.
The film, which was released Friday and closes the book on the first eleven years of the Marvel film universe, ends the one-year cliffhanger of "Avengers: Infinity War", in which half of the universe has fallen in dust.
