Marvel fans have spent a whole year trying to predict what might happen in Avengers: End of Game. Between endless rumors, pictures on the set, leaks of merchandise and all that the Internet obsessed with the MCU discovered during the production of the film, many central theories on the epic finale began to emerge. All did not succeed (no, Ant-Man did not kill Thanos by becoming small and pulling her ass). But many of the important theories that armed Mind Stone fans invented have become reality in End of Game. In fact, some of the most surprising and risky predictions have borne fruit.
Here are all the theories of fans that have become reality in End of Game. Attention, massive spoilers to come !!
Professor Hulk
Hell yeah. Say what you want about the MCU, but after movies like guardians and Thor: RagnarokKevin Feige and Co. were not afraid of being completely weird. And in a culture of beautiful beige-colored movies, which kills cookies, it's really something to respect. One of End of GameThe biggest odd thing about David is Bruce Banner's new physical state. As many fans had predicted, the Russo brothers ended up adopting the "Professor Hulk" scenario for the big boys. War of Infinity after, in which Bruce Banner and Hulk finally put their differences aside and become one of them. The result? Mark Ruffalo is huge. And green. And strangely hot? He has the body of the Hulk with the spirit of Bruce Banner. This lasts just about the entire film, giving the impression that parts of this cinematic experience almost resemble a feverish dream.
Time travel
Since very revealing plateau photos have fled early in the production of End of Gamefans have theorized that time travel was pretty much a given for the new movie. I mean, if not how are they going to reverse all the horrible things Thanos has done? This theory has been the most important prediction. And now the fans were right. End of Game is a full time time heist. By disrupting the last 22 films of the famous MCU, our Avengers go through the twists and turns. The holes in the plot are quite difficult to navigate, but on the surface, End of GameQuantum mechanics is fun. We even saw Tilda Swinton!
Captain America brandishing Thor's hammer
This one is less a prediction and more simply something that fans have always asked for Avengers all met in 2012. We saw Steve Rogers trying to take the hammer. He pushed him a little Age of Ultron. But End of Game finally gives us the real deal. Cape is a pig with Mjolnir, hitting Thanos' huge face, and even swinging it to take flight. As reverse reported in 2018, fans even asked Joss Whedon on the stage in Ultron when Cape attempted to lift the hammer. Whedon replied, "Did he fail? Or did he stop?" It turns out that the answer may have been the last one.
Thanos is defeated in the first act
As expected in the r / FanTheories Subreddit, the Big Purple Man is indeed killed very early in the world. End of Game. Watchers of the eagle-eyed movie trailers have noticed, mainly because of the different lengths (and colors) of Black Widow's hair, that there could be some time passing in the Grand finale. They have assumed that Grimace could be killed in the first 20 minutes of the film, but that his assassination does not overturn the events of War of Infinityleaving the universe in a very bad state. They were right. Thanos is cut off in the first act of the film, leaving only the Avengers with more questions and less hope. It's an error that forces Thor to exile to drinking beer and playing Fortnitewhich eventually resulted in the team forgetting to repair the consequences of the breakup. Until our friend Ant-Man arrives.
Tony Stark dies
Since the launch of the MCU in 2008, fans have been waiting to see how Tony Stark's narrative arc will end. Over the 22 films since then, the subject has come back to the surface a few times. He almost died in the first Avengers, and with the end of Robert Downey Jr.'s contract, it seemed inevitable that Iron Man would die in End of Game. And that was. Stark is sacrificed to take control of the Infinity Stones and snap his fingers to reverse the course of history, while sealing his fate. Everyone said it would be either Tony or Steve (or both) who would die in the war against Thanos, and it turns out that it is Tony who has to leave. So it is natural that this is the last release of RDJ as a character because it is the end of the story that it started so many years ago.
