Trump warns Sanders that he's cheated again

The Democratic Party is again trying to manipulate its presidential primary elections, President Donald Trump said in a two-part tweet on Saturday night.

"The National Democratic Committee, sometimes referred to as the DNC, is again magically working on its quest to destroy Crazy Bernie Sanders …", the president said, after these remarks: "… for the more traditional, but not very Shiny, Sleepy Joe Biden. "It's gone, Bernie, but this time, show a little more anger and indignation when you get caught!

Sanders, whom Trump often calls "Crazy Bernie," usually do not get Trump's sympathy or support, except when the president implies that the Democrats are doing inappropriate things to keep him away from the party's presidential nomination. It was a common chorus by Trump both during and after the Battle of Sanders with Hillary Clinton. "Bernie Sanders supporters are perfectly entitled to be apoplectic in the face of the complete theft of the Dem Primary by Crooked Hillary !," he tweeted in November 2017.

During the 2016 campaign, he often associated this idea with a suggestion that Sanders should decline to support Clinton and present himself more as an independent – a strategy clearly based on the principle of division and conquest on his part.

"Bernie Sanders has been terribly treated by the Democrats – with delegates and otherwise. He should show them and introduce himself as "independent," he tweeted on May 5, 2016. Two weeks later, he added, "Bernie Sanders is very badly treated by Democrats – the system is rigged against him. Many of his private fans are for me! "
