Kerr said Thompson, who also has an ankle injury, will warm up before the game, before the Warriors decide whether he will play or not.

"Yes [Thompson’s injury] will get worse, we should not play it today, "Kerr told reporters.

Thompson is optimistic, but the main question is whether his mobility will be limited, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

An MRI on Thompson's right ankle was cleaned Saturday night.

Reserve guard Austin Rivers (disease) will not play for the Rockets.
