An Arizona man was arrested following the shooting of his six-year-old daughter, who was said to have been seriously injured by the police, while his father was teaching him gun safety.
Eldon McInville, 26, was arrested and charged with child abuse and aggravated assault after police were called to his home in Glendale on Thursday afternoon in response to a shooting incident. The girl received a bullet in the abdomen and is facing months of convalescence.
