The Baltimore police are investigating an incident that took the lives of one person and six others injured after firing on a barbecue near a church.
The incident occurred in the area of the Baptist Church of Perkins Square.
At a press conference Sunday night, police said the suspect was still on the run. Police said that a black man arrived on foot and started shooting "indiscriminately in the crowd".
An eyewitness told WMAR-TV that "someone has rolled up and started firing".
There is no word on the situation of the six wounded people.
