"Uber slows its traffic for IPO" (Exchange, April 13) proves once again that profits can not be made by selling a service at less than marginal cost. Uber also faces the unresolved challenge of how to recruit and maintain a fleet of happy contract drivers who can not make a living by implementing its brand licensing and marketing system. Why drive for Uber if you can not pay rent and feed your family?
