Booker's speech in Florida interrupted after the crash of a car in a building

After the space was deemed safe and no injuries were found, the former mayor of Newark, New Jersey, continued his speech and answered questions from the public.

"I've been a former mayor.We have had to deal with many crises.It's important to stay calm and see what you can do to help others," Booker told a manager. from the local press in Florida.

The driver was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, and the passenger was slightly injured, according to local reports.

"Unfortunately, we often have road accidents and my prayers accompany the two people (…) .It looks like they're going to be okay," said Booker.
