POWAY, Calif. – Oscar Stewart was sitting at the back of the Chabad of Poway synagogue when he heard the shots, about 20 minutes into the service, Saturday. He said his first reaction was to run and he sprinted into the entrance, where he saw the gunman shoot an AR-type rifle into the hallway.
