Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains one of the most imminent figures of the MLS in 2019, with the latest outbreak coming after LA Galaxy's 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake tonight.
According to a post-match interview with Nedum Onuoha, Ibrahimovic entered RSL's locker room to apologize for what the RSL center described as an aggressive conversation on the ground, with intent to hurt.
Onuoha said he refused the apparent apology, describing Ibrahimovic's behavior as excessive.
He apologized after the match because after 60 minutes he said he was going to hurt me, he was going to hurt me for this game. He's a guy who says he's the face of MLS, as he calls himself, and he's playing that way on the ground. I do not care – if someone comes in and tells me that, you do not say that on the ground. I'm mad. I will not accept his apology. This is unacceptable.
