It's time.
Cook County lawyer Kim Foxx and his deputy were called to appear in connection with their actions in the Jussie Smollett case.
The actor of "the Empire" has been cleared: all 16 counts for a racial attack hoax pending against him have all been removed.
Smollett blamed two white men for physically assaulting him with a rope and bleach while using vulgar terms about his sexuality.
Do you remember what the Chicago Police Commissioner said after the Smollett investigation?
He spoke frankly about overwhelming evidence against Smollett, including affidavits by the Nigerian brothers who organized the so-called "attack", a video clip, receipts, etc., which resulted in 16 counts.

There was not one, two or three charges against him – but 16.
Then all of a sudden these charges were dropped without further explanation. How is justice served in this way? Or is it the old justice of "celebrities"?
The Supreme Attorney of Chicago was summoned to appear before a court by a retired appellate judge who asked a special prosecutor to investigate the handling of the complaint against actor Jussie Smollett.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported that Sheila O'Brien had also summoned the chief assistant of Cook County State Attorney, Kim Foxx, and asked Smollett to appear at a hearing at his request.
Foxx was severely criticized when his office announced that he was abandoning the lawsuits against Smollett, accusing the black and homosexual actor of staging a racist and anti-gay attack in downtown Chicago.
Foxx defended the decision to drop the charges and said she was pleased with an independent investigation. (source: Associated Press)
Let's go back.
Foxx stated publicly that she had objected, that she had let her office continue the investigation instead of handing the file over to another agency, as provided for in the protocol, and then had asked his subordinates, in private, what to do.
It should be written off, in our opinion.
Here is what should be clarified. Who told Foxx to let Smollett go? She would not risk her career by doing it herself.

Someone of the important contacted her and told her to do so, and all the signs seem to indicate up to here Michelle Obama, or at least her best collaborator, who contacted Foxx.
The hoax took three weeks of police work, with more than 50 interviews, numerous subpoenas, video scanning hours and lab work for $ 130,000 for the already overburdened police force in Chicago. Well done, Foxx!
People summoned and forced to face justice have no problem deciding whether they have clearly chosen to obstruct justice.
Let's apply that at all levels, are we going?
