Conway originally called Ocasio-Cortez Sunday for his "silence" following the bomb attacks in Sri Lankan churches on Easter Sunday.

"I see officials who have a lot of air time and a lot of ink, like Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who tweets several times about the mosque and never about the killing of Christians in Sri Lanka. "said Conway in an interview with the Union.

The New York legislature fought back on Sunday, accusing Conway of using these attacks to "stir up suspicion" about the Christianity of the Ocasio-Cortez.
