Unveiled earlier this month, the Beats Powerbeats Pro headphones will debut in May. However, Apple has not specified when exactly customers will be able to buy the headphones, but it has confirmed that they would be available at a price of 250 USD.
Today, 9to5mac announces that the Powerbeats Pro will be pre-ordering in the United States and Canada starting May 3rd at the price mentioned above. In addition, those who want to wait will have headphones directly in the stores will be able to do it from May 10.
Apple also announced that only Pro Powerbeats in black would be available for purchase in May, while Ivory, Moss and Navy models would be on sale this summer. Of course, the price and specifications remain the same for all color options.
Speaking of specifications, the Powerbeats Pro are equipped with the same Apple H1 chipset as the AirPods 2 and offers a range of up to 9 hours (charge 5 minutes for an hour and a half). They are resistant to sweat and water, and have "Hey Siri"Support on iOS devices, as well as voice capability at the touch of a button.
The headphones come with a charging case and a Lightning charging cable to USB-A. You will also notice that headphones have volume and track controls on each headset so you can play both sides, one at a time.
