The major US airlines were hit Monday by system-wide failures, which have since been resolved, an airline said.

"We are aware that there is a problem that is affecting some customers, our operations and our global technical teams are actively working to solve this problem, and we apologize for any inconvenience," said Saber, an airline used by airlines for printing and booking tickets.

American Airlines said the technical problem was solved shortly before 2 pm AND, and had no major impact on flights. WestJet, JetBlue and Alaska Air were also affected by the outage.

JetBlue said that its customers could have problems booking or registering on its website, its mobile application and in the kiosks of the airport. "We are working to solve the problem and we apologize to our customers for the inconvenience," said the airline.

The cause of the failure was not known immediately.

Saber is excused for the disruption. "No downtime is acceptable, we are working quickly to resume normal operations."
