Gabriel Luna presents himself again as Marvel's Ghost Rider, but this time for Hulu.
Variety exclusively learned that Luna will star in the recently announced Hulu live-action series based on the cartoon character. This will mark the second time that Luna has played Ghost Rider, previously appearing as the character of the ABC-Marvel "Agents of SHIELD" series. However, sources point out that it will be a whole new iteration of the character, with no connection to the narrative "Agents of SHIELD".
In addition to his time in "Agents of SHIELD", Luna's other television credits include "True Detective", "Wicked City" and "Matador". On the feature film side, he should appear in the upcoming movie "Terminator: Dark Fate" opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, who has already starred in films like "Bernie", "Freehold" and "Balls Out".
Luna is relaunched by UTA, Management 360 and Ziffren Brittenham.
Ghost Rider, also known as Robbie Reyes, is consumed by the fire of hell and is supernaturally related to a demon. He lives on the border between Texas and Mexico and when he frees the runner, Robbie takes revenge on the innocent he meets, but he struggles to control the power he's exercising.
.Ingrid Escajeda will act as showrunner and executive producer of "Ghost Rider", along with Paul Zbyszewski and Marvel TV's director, Jeph Loeb, also executive producer.
In addition to 'Ghost Rider', Hulu also commissioned a series of live action scenes 'Helstrom'. They join the upcoming Hulu-Marvel animated shows based on Howard the Duck, O.D.O.K, Hit-Monkey and Tigra and Dazzler. Hulu is also releasing Marvel's "Runaways" live-action series, which is entering its third season.
