The rapper Bushwick Bill diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer

One of the founding members of the legendary rap group Geto Boys announced he was fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

In an interview with TMZ, Bushwick Bill revealed that he had been diagnosed in February and was currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatments.

"We see a mass on your pancreas and we can not understand it," said the 52-year-old rapper. "It's not alcohol, not sugar, not diabetes. They went through all kinds of things. And finally, on February 8, they said it was stage 4 [pancreatic] Cancer."

He says it's too early to say how his body reacts to chemotherapy, but he does not fear what lies ahead.

"I guess keeping it for me really does not help anyone and I'm not really afraid of dying because if someone knows something about me [his 1992 song] "Ever So Clear", I lost my life and came back in June 1991, so I know what it's like on the other side, "he said, referring to the incident in which he fired a bullet in the eyes by accident.

But if he loses the fight against cancer, the rapper "Who's the Biggest" has put in place an emergency plan.

"If I'm currently doing three albums, it's because I notice that when most celebrities go by, they really have nothing planned for their kids and everything is messy," he said. "So, I think old music will sell, yes, but if I have new music for them and I have a book and a documentary and that I have to do it. other projects in which I am starting now, at least they will have a residual income instead of just knowing that I am their father and that my old records are selling. I would just prefer to know for sure that I did my part. "
