The news of the wedding came after the American DJ Diplo released a series of videos on Instagram.
"It's going to hit this wedding very soon," reads a caption on a video showing Turner in a white wedding outfit walking in front of Jonas.
Diplo also marked the pair in another video showing Turner in a veil holding a bouquet of flowers, with the caption "The true love".
And excerpts from a live Instagram video posted on his account surfaced on Twitter.
One shows the moment when the couple exchange their wishes during a ceremony led by an Elvis Presley impersonator.
Turner publicist Gertie Lowe of Public Eye confirmed to CNN that the couple had been married in the United States last night.
The couple announced her engagement in 2017 as a result of a flash romance.
Turner, 23, is best known for her role as Sansa Stark in the hit television series Game of Thrones, while 29-year-old Jonas is a member of award-winning rock band The Jonas Brothers.
The British actress has already talked about her sexuality and suggested she think that she would be single all her life, but when meeting Jonah, she knew that she had found her.
Invited to develop the girls part, Turner said: "Everyone is experimenting."
For its part, Jonah announced on May 1 a tour of 40 dates in North America, the first time the Jonas Brothers have been on the road for nearly ten years.
The newlyweds were in Las Vegas to attend the Billboard Music Awards at MGM Garden Arena.
American rapper Drake was one of the big winners, winning Best Artist, Best Male Artist and Top Billboard 200 for "Scorpion".
And Drake is clearly a fan of "Game of Thrones", using his thank you speech to mention Arya Stark, a character who played a pivotal role in the latest series of the series.
"Hi, thanks to Arya Stark for this artwork last week," said Drake, referring to the episode of the Battle of Winterfell last Sunday.
