FULL SPOILERS IN THE BEFORE!

Go see Avengers: Endgame again this weekend? Then make sure to read our review, our explanatory on its end, on how it could organize this nasty classic marvel for phase 4, all the Easter eggs we've taken, our biggest question about Black Widow, what is the next step for the distribution of Endgame, and our distribution of the rules of the film in the time of the film.

Avengers: Endgame does not have a mid-credit or post-credit scene in itself, but it's … something you should still stay after the end of the final credits of the epic superhero 181 minutes. (If you want more, we have gathered all the best callbacks, Easter eggs and cameos in Endgame for your enjoyment.)

As with all MCU movies, the last image visible after the end credits in Endgame is the Marvel Studios logo. But this time, rather than a score or just a silence, there is a curious sound effect.

Spoilers to come! Do not read further if you want to know the nature of this post-credit label!

So, what is this sound at the end of Avengers: Endgame? We have theories.

While the Marvel Studios logo appears for the last time in Avengers: Endgame, the sound of the metal that resonates is audible. Although there are no visual cues, the sound effect itself is most likely a sound reminder of the very first MCU movie.

Our enlightened guess is that the resounding metal is the sound of Tony Stark, who forged his first Iron Man armor in the 2008 film that launched the entire universe of Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But what if it's something else? Would it be rather a wink at the giant dwarf Eritri (played by Peter Dinklage in Infinity War) who was forced to forge the gauntlet of infinity for Thanos?

Or is it, like the suspicious Tom Jorgensen at IGN, a clue that Wolverine and his Adamantium claws finally reach the MCU?

The safe money is on the fact that it 's an Iron Man reminder, but what do you think is the sound effect? Are you disappointed that Avengers: Endgame is the first MCU movie to have no mid-credit or post-credit scene? Let us know in the comments!
