Halo: The Master Chief Collection will have a cross progression between PC and console

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is finally heading towards the PC, and it seems that the Xbox One version will have a cross progression and that the cross game, although not planned for the launch, is in the spirit of the future of 343 Industries.

Via Wccftech, Director of the Halo Community at 343 Industries Brian Jarrard replied to a Twitter question from RabblinMan on Twitter, which asked if Master Chief Collection would have any "cross platform functionality between the console and the PC regarding customs or reconciliation?"

"Progress, unlocking, statistics, etc., will be reported between the PC / console," responded Jarrard. "When it comes to playing together on the cross platform, it's not planned for the moment, but it's something the team is counting and evaluating over time."

This is promising for those who already own Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One or who are eager to play with friends on an opposite platform and who make this package even more attractive, especially after the announcement of the added Halo: Reach. to both versions.

However, it is important to remember that MCC will probably not be a Play Anywhere game. Therefore, those who already own the collection will have to buy again if they wish to play on PC.
