Yankees Highlights: Gary Sanchez crushes two circuits

The Yankees entered Friday night's game without a win against teams with records of more than .500. This quickly changed, while the Bombers took a 6-3 win on the twins. It was not a crunchy game at all, but it still counts as a win.

Winner of the game

Gary Sanchez continues to defend his case as the best striker of the American League. The Kraken crashed a home run at the end of the fifth inning. He traveled 428 feet, with an exit speed of 111.7 mph.

He hit another solo bomb in the seventh inning, this one with an exit speed of 118 mph. A healthy Sanchez terrorizing major league throws has been a joy for the 2019 season. It's great to see him rake again.

Tyler Wade also wins for his reaction at the first stroke of the moon.

Loser of the game

Slugger, Masher, adult grandson – there are many ways to describe Luke Voit. The speed demon, however, is not a title that he should wear. The Yankees' first baseman extended his series on the base in the first run by trotting a walk, which is good! He was sent home after an ill-advised sending of Third Base coach Phil Nevin, who was deflating.

To make matters worse, Voit has bumped up on another occasion in the second run. This time, he hit a RBI single, but tried to take advantage of the Twins defense and advance to second place. It did not work and he ended the round on the baspaths. It's OK if Voit does not have a great run, though. It compensates more than that in other areas.
