Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend has been charged with domestic violence this week, the Los Angeles Police Department said Saturday in HuffPost.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department records show that Brian Hickerson, 30, was arrested Thursday at 2:25 pm and released around 3:00 pm. on bail of $ 50,000.
According to TMZ, he was reportedly arrested at the couple's home. According to the point of sale, Panettiere and Hickerson reportedly drank in Hollywood the night before the incident, before embarking on an argument that became physical. It is not known who called 911. However, it seems that Hickerson started the altercation.
Panettiere, 29, who recently played in CMT's "Nashville", has been dating Hickerson for the past nine months since her separation from Ukrainian professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko, with whom she was engaged. Panettiere and Klitschko share the four-year-old daughter Kaya, who according to Us Weekly is raised in Ukraine.
Thursday's incident should not be Hickerson's first clash with the law. Last year, People magazine received a police report that was redacted in Greenville, South Carolina, according to which the authorities responded to a call for battery and assault at a residence in October. TMZ said the people involved were Hickerson and his father, David.
The Panettiere representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment. HuffPost could not reach Hickerson immediately.
