Trump wants to prevent the authority of judges to issue injunctions at the national level

VIce Committee Chair Mike Pence announced Wednesday that the Trump government would seek to end the authority of district judges to order injunctions nationwide.

"I say to all the people gathered here: for our freedom, our security, our prosperity and the separation of powers, this period of judicial activism must end," said Pence in a speech to the Federalist Society. . "The US Supreme Court must make it clear that district judges can not decide more than the cases before them."

Pence said that the administration "would look for opportunities" to plead the case to end national injunctions before the Supreme Court.

The Trump administration fought several national injunctions against its policy, including the travel ban imposed on several Muslim-majority countries and the ban on transgender military service.
