These broken pieces of glass reveal the colors of the Apple iPhone XR sequel

Last night, BloombergMark Gurman tweeted an image of glass fragments that apparently reveal some of the new colors that Apple has planned for tracking its iPhone XR. The familiar black, white and yellow colors are back, but there are also green and purple pieces in the mix. These can be scrapped by manufacturing parts or glass panels that do not comply with the quality assurance tests.

As Gurman notes in his tweet, these two new options, meant to replace the current coral and blue colors, have been reported for the first time by a Japanese blog. Mac Otakara last week. It is likely that Apple will again produce a version of Product RED as well, although this is not visible in this image. Society seems to opt for a more discreet and more pastel selection this time around.

The successor to the iPhone XR should include a dual-lens rear camera system, while retaining the same overall design as last year's phone. Yesterday, Gurman also released an image of alleged case moldings for the three iPhones 2019, which represents three rear cameras on both high-end models.

The iPhone XR remains the best choice for most people who switch to one of Apple's newer phones, offering the core technology of the flagship handsets – and the best battery life of all iPhone – to a lower price than iPhone XS and XS Max. Apple's latest XR advertising highlights this endurance of the battery. The next lineup of iPhone is expected to be announced sometime in September.
